What is My Student Learning?

Sunday Mornings:

  • Series Overview: Series Name: The Making Of

Good movies capture our imaginations and transport us to other worlds. As we watch our favorite movies with popcorn in hand, we may not realize all of the work, edits, and rewrites that went into making the cinematic masterpiece. The same is true of our faith, too. We might expect our relationship with God to look like a finished product, but really, our faith and relationship with God are still in the making. In this 4-week series from the Gospels and Epistles, we'll explore what can happen when we invest in spiritual formation. We'll see how spending time with God can make us more like Jesus and how when we face temptation, we can ask God for help. We'll also discover how with God, difficult moments can help our character grow and how we grow when we make things right with God.

Wednesdays:

  • March 5: Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy

  • March 12: Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

  • March 19: Spring Break!

  • March 26: Starting a new series here, and it's called "Is God___?" the first week is "Is God Love?

Prayer

Thank you God for who you are, and what that means for us. In this new month may you renew and grow within us a desire to follow after you. Remind us of your love, goodness, and faithfulness. In return let it be so that we extend love, goodness, and consistency in our homes, with out students, and towards the world. We love you and dedicate another month to you. Amen!

Meet the Pastors

Jordan Woodring — Youth & Life Group Pastor

I started volunteering at C3 in college as a childcare worker and junior high small group leader, and have had the privilege of working here for ten years now. It has remained a true passion of mine to serve God through serving the children, students, and families of C3. I hope for this blog to be a resource for you and a springboard for future conversations and relationships with you and your family as your student(s) grows. It’s an honor to partner with you as you are making disciples in your home!
