What is My Student Learning?
Sunday Mornings:
Series Name: In The Shadows
Description: Where there is shadow, there is light, so the shadows don't have to scare us. As we grow and experience more life, we might find the shadows of doubt or questions creeping towards us. Rather than run from the shadows, we can look to God to cast some light on the situation. In this 3-week series from the Old and New Testaments, we'll explore how we can step into the light whenever we doubt God's presence. We'll talk about how when we doubt God can be trusted, we can find the light and choose to remember what God's already done. We'll learn how, when Jesus' followers disappoint us, we can step up to be what we don't see. We'll explore what can happen when we've lost hope and how we can ask God to surprise us.
C3 Youth Charged Bible Reading Plan:
Prayer
Heavenly Father thank you so much for the ways in which you have showed yourself to us over this summer. You have been working in a lot of ways and thank you for making it evident in our youth group. We pray that as the summer months come to close that our commitments to you hold strong and that as we near the school year we can be a light to a world that really needs you. Thank you for all you do for us. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
Meet the Pastors
Jordan Woodring — Youth & Life Group Pastor
I started volunteering at C3 in college as a childcare worker and junior high small group leader, and have had the privilege of working here for ten years now. It has remained a true passion of mine to serve God through serving the children, students, and families of C3. I hope for this blog to be a resource for you and a springboard for future conversations and relationships with you and your family as your student(s) grows. It’s an honor to partner with you as you are making disciples in your home!
